World Leader Uses 2 Unthinkable Words to Describe Hamas – Nobody Can Believe He Said It

What’s Happening:

Many have been shocked by the statements of world leaders, in the aftermath of the Hamas attack in Israel. The United States and other allies have stood by the one Jewish state in the world. But others have seemingly misrepresented the events and all but defended Hamas for what it did.

The UN Secretary-General is facing intense backlash for accusing Israel of being an occupier. He seemed to blame Israel for what Hamas did. The heavily criticized statements have drawn rebuke from the Israeli ambassador and other leaders.

But the UN leader has been dwarfed by a statement from a NATO ally. President Erdogan of Turkey is openly turning on the nation of Israel. And he called terrorist network Hamas something shocking.

From Fox News:
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan referred to Hamas terrorists as a “liberation group” trying to protect the Palestinian people…

Erdogan sharpened his criticisms of Israel, describing the siege of Gaza as one of the “bloodiest, most disgusting and most savage attacks in history.”…

The Turkish leader called for an immediate cease-fire, for humanitarian aid to be allowed into Gaza and for talks for the release of hostages to begin.

In a shocking rewriting of recent history, President Erdogan of Turkey called Hamas a “liberation group” that is trying to protect Palestine. Basic facts clearly contradict the leader’s claims.

Hamas is largely responsible for the hardships experienced by Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Much of the humanitarian aid given to the Palestinians is seized by Hamas and used for terrorism. Hamas hides their missile installations and headquarters in schools, hospitals, and other civilian locations–to use them as shields against attack.

Hamas is considered a terrorist group by the United States and other nations. It is responsible for a horrifically unspeakable attack against civilians in Israel, which saw over 1,400 dead, hundreds kidnapped, and many more injured. Among the victims were the elderly, women, and infants.

Yet Erdogan called Israel’s response one of the “most disgusting and most savage attacks in history” instead of condemning the actions of the bloodthirsty Hamas.

The Turkish president canceled a planned trip to Israel, seemingly putting on hold plans to normalize relations with the country. This could be a sign that Turkey will turn against Israel and support its enemies.

Already Erdogan’s rhetoric is empowering Iran, Hamas, and others against Israel. The fact that Turkey is a NATO ally means the United States must respond to their president’s indefensible comments.

Key Takeaways:

  • Turkish President Erdogan attacked Israel and called terror group Hamas a “liberation group.”
  • He ignored the horrific actions by Hamas against Israel and instead slandered Israel’s response as “savage.”
  • Turkey had plans to normalize relations with Israel, which might be put on hold.
