Since last week—when Twitter shut down Trump’s account—the president has remained silent. Despite activity from Congress, and the endless noise of the MSM, they couldn’t get anything out of him.
But starting today, he’s getting out of town. He spoke to a few reporters on his way from the White House.
Trump is planning on seeing one of his biggest accomplishments from his four years in office.
U.S. President Donald Trump plans to emerge from seclusion on Tuesday… and will travel to Alamo, Texas, to visit his signature border wall…
Trump has sought to cut down on cross-border migrants and legal immigration throughout his term, and the wall project dates to his 2016 pledge to seal off the border with a wall.
White House spokesman Judd Deere said the visit would mark Trump’s “completion of more than 400 miles of border wall — a promise made, promise kept — and his administration’s efforts to reform our broken immigration system.”
Trump will travel to Alamo, TX to view a portion of the border wall. Throughout his time in office, he traveled to various parts of the border to see the progress of his promised border system.
In one iconic moment, he signed the steel beams that made up the advanced security fencing system.
At the outset of his administration, the media and left made plenty of noise over Trump’s intentions for the border. Congress—even under Republicans—refused to provide funding for Trump’s signature campaign promise.
But as time wore on, the left gave up. Trump was able to repeatedly secure funding through various avenues, as hundreds of miles of the border wall were completed.
Throughout Trump’s administration, the border’s security improved dramatically. Even during the 2018 “migrant crisis,” Trump was able to do the impossible, preventing thousands of people from bombarding the border.
He was able to even negotiate with Mexico and other countries to ensure America’s border was secure.
As Trump nears the end of his first term, it seems this trip will serve as a reminder of how effective and successful his administration was—despite overwhelming opposition.
- President Trump will travel to Texas to view the southern border wall.
- The president succeeded in building hundreds of miles of new security fencing.
- Under Trump, significant immigration reform helped secure the border.
