Joe Biden promised to “build back better” in 2020. But millions of Americans are blaming him for their financial struggles. Biden spent trillions over the last few years. But it seems to have done little to turn America’s economic troubles around.

Under Biden, inflation has reached historic heights. Many believe Biden’s reckless spending and war on fossil fuels have contributed to ongoing inflation.

One of Biden’s cheerleaders tried to dismiss Bidenflation. While speaking with the press, he made some claims about the situation. Even then, he couldn’t help but admit what is really going on.

During an interview with ABC News on Thursday, White House Senior Adviser Gene Sperling stated that “people have been through a tough few years” but the PCE (Personal Consumption Expenditures) price index reading is “very close to normal” and “prices are moving in the right direction” and “moderating.” But you can’t expect them to not go up.

One of Biden’s advisers seemed to try to dismiss inflation by saying the PCE is “very close to normal.” Perhaps if he spoke to many families struggling to put gas in their cars and food on their tables, he’d might think otherwise.

Sperling claimed, “prices are moving in the right direction.” Inflation might have decreased in recent months, but there does not seem to be strong signs that the cost of goods are going down fast enough. High energy prices continue to hurt costs and family income.

But Sperling shot himself in the foot when he admitted that prices could still go up, especially while Biden is still in office. Biden’s policies have contributed to high prices, more so than just the recession caused by the pandemic.

The president has not pulled his foot off the spending peddle. More government spending results in higher taxes and a greater burden on working Americans. The only thing that might have relieved inflation a little bit has been Republican control of the House, which has deprived Biden of rushing more spending bills for Ukraine through Congress.

Americans have accused Biden of caring more about foreign nations than the United States. Joe seems to have bent over backward for NATO, Ukraine, and China. His policies have put money in communist China’s pocket, as millions of illegals take jobs and housing from Americans.

Sperling, of course, refused to address any of this. It seems he just expected Americans to swallow whatever he said, no questions asked.
