How many promises has President Trump made and kept—compared to most politicians?
I’m sure Americans, if they are honest, will say too many to count.
He reinvigorated the economy (twice); 11 million jobs have come back since the lockdowns.
Trump is getting the border wall built, even as the media tries to ignore the progress.
On top of that, he’s on the verge of appointing a THIRD Supreme Court Justice in his first term.
Don’t forget too, that Trump is the only president in decades to not start a new war.
And now he’s made a major promise to end a long-standing war:
We should have the small remaining number of our BRAVE Men and Women serving in Afghanistan home by Christmas!
President Trump took to Twitter to announce the troops still in Afghanistan should be coming home by Christmas.
He shared the good news exactly 19 years to the day the invasion began (which was way back on October 7, 2001).
The war and conflict in Afghanistan have been going on since 2001—spanning three presidents.
Many Americans have watched their young sons and daughters die fighting in the struggle.
President Trump has worked to bring peace overseas, so we don’t have to continue to engage in endless conflicts.
Bringing back these troops would be yet another step in fulfilling that goal. It might even be the final promise he keeps in his first term.
Imagine what he’ll do, if he gets a second?
But the question remains, will Americans give him a second term or let Biden flush all this down the toilet?
- Trump announced he’s bringing troops home from Afghanistan.
- He said they should be home by Christmas.
- He is the first president in decades not to start a foreign war.
