Vice President Mike Pence just caught Democrats by surprise.
Americans have watched as Democrats went light on riots, but hard on police officers all Summer.
And it turns out, that hasn’t gone over well with some Democrat police chiefs.
Not only has Trump earned the endorsement of major police unions, but now some cops are flipping to the GOP.
And Pence announced what’s going on in his own state:
Two Democrat Sheriffs in Indiana joined the Republican Party! Proud to welcome Sheriff Dave Wedding of Vanderburgh Co. and Sheriff Tom Latham of Posey Co. to the GOP! Under President @realdonaldtrump we stand for Law & Order and we Back the Blue!
Mike Pence revealed that two Democrat sheriffs from Indiana have officially left the party to become Republicans.
Sheriff Dave Wedding of Vanderburgh Co. and Sheriff Tom Latham announced they were ditching the left to become Republicans.
This is, no doubt, to the left’s continued refusal to uphold law and order. Even after Joe Biden condemned the violence in major cities, he has done little to support police officers.
It appears that Democrats are siding with rioters, looters, and anarchists. They have praised criminals and called cops “the enemy.”
We shouldn’t be surprised to see sheriffs officially joining the Republican Party over this. What is surprising is that there are any cops left to claim to be Democrats.
Many police departments have been held back by liberal mayors, as anarchists rioted in the streets.
Cops have been killed and innocent lives lost. In response, Democrats have defunded police departments, taking millions (and in some cases, billions) needed by police.
Meanwhile, Trump has vowed to restore law and order in cities across America. He has defended our law enforcement and promised to increase their funding, not slash it.
This announcement might not be the last. As Democrats continue to neglect police officers, expect more to join the GOP.

- This comes as Democrats continue to appear to encourage rioting and looting.
- Many Democrat leaders have defunded police departments during a surge in crime.
