Already, it seems Fox News is suffering after it “parted ways” with top host Tucker Carlson. Its stock dropped after the news came out. Many customers unsubscribed to their streaming service. And reports even indicate that they are losing viewers in key demographics.
But where is Tucker? He was spotted having a great time, going to dinner with his wife. It seems the news hasn’t phased him, as many suggest he can launch his own media empire. So, what are Carlson’s future plans? After several days of speculation, he broke his silence.
From The Post Millennial:
Tucker Carlson broke his silence Wednesday evening, just two days after leaving Fox News…
“One of the first things you realize when you step outside the noise for a few days is how many genuinely nice people there are in this country…
“True things prevail… As long as you can hear the words there is hope. See you soon.”

Carlson posted a 2-minute video to his Twitter feed, which quickly gained over 15 million views. The former Fox News host did not directly address the controversy. But he did express relief from being out of the “noise” for a few days.
He praised regular Americans for being “genuinely nice” and even “hilarious.” It seems Tucker has been enjoying a break from the relentless news cycle that has dominated his life for many years.
Then, he went on to expose both parties for spreading hype and hysteria deliberately designed to distract Americans from the real issues. He even admitted he was part of a system that ignored crises like “war, civil liberties, emerging science, demographic change, corporate power, natural resources.”
But he did offer hope. Carlson said that despite powerful forces trying to silence us, “when honest say what’s true calmly and without embarrassment, they become powerful.” He said there are places left where Americans can speak the truth. And it appears he plans on using one of those platforms to do just that.
He ended his message with, “See you soon.” Perhaps Carlson will be launching something in the near future.
