Even though Donald Trump wasn’t reelected, he retains a dedicated and very loyal following. And the former President has continued to stay in the political limelight.
He remains banned on social media networks like Facebook and Twitter, but Trump recently announced the launch of his own platform, “From The Desk of Donald J. Trump.”
That was big news — but it sounds like an even bigger announcement is coming very soon.
The former Commander-in-Chief spoke to Candace Owens on her Daily Wire show, “Candace,” and addressed a variety of topics, including how the media treated his family between 2016 and 2020.
He also hinted at the future, and says he’s currently “absolutely enthused.”
Donald didn’t commit to anything and admitted that because it’s so early, it wouldn’t make sense to confirm anything at this point. But he did say that something big is on the horizon.
And when the announcement arrives, his fans are going to be very pleased.
Via Fox News:
President Donald Trump on Tuesday promised his supporters would be very happy when he eventually makes an announcement about whether he will run in the 2024 presidential election.
‘I think people are going to be very, very happy when I make a certain announcement,’ Trump said.
It’s even more telling that when Owens asked him about a possible 2024 run, Donald said that it was too early but “otherwise I’d give you an answer that I think you’d be very happy with.”
When we combine this with the launch of his social media platform, many Republicans and Conservatives will make the same assumption.
While it’s likely that we’ll have several promising right-wing candidates for the 2024 presidential election, we’ve seen many polls and statistics that say right now, Trump is still the favorite of the party.
People like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis could make a big splash but for the time being, Donald Trump seems to have the most pull among Republicans.
He also continues to rail against the results of the very tight 2020 election, so he might be looking to get some revenge in 2024.
However, 2024 remains a long ways off and a lot can happen in the meantime. Other Conservative stars could rise, or Trump himself could have different plans in the coming years.
Even so, everyone is probably wondering: what would Trump vs. Biden 2.0 look like?
If Biden’s left-wing policies don’t go over well enough with much of America, and the “woke” agenda continues to spin out of control, Trump might actually have the upper hand.
But right now, we can only “stay tuned,” as Donald said.
