Trump Makes Post-Shooting Promise: Donald Will Declassify Assassination Attempt Investigation

Americans are still reeling from the shocking attempt on Donald Trump’s life. Congressional Republicans have blasted the Secret Service, who made numerous mistakes that led to the attack.

Plenty of people are demanding answers over how a gunman was able to get that close to the event. And how was he able to take a shot, missing Trump only by the grace of God?

There are far too questions with no answers. And we can be sure that the failed Biden presidency won’t be forthcoming with the truth.

Donald Trump sat down with his new running mate to discuss this and many other issues. He spoke at length about the circumstances surrounding the assassination attempt. And he made one vow to the American public. If he returns to office, he will be making sure all of us know exactly what happened and why.

From Daily Caller:
Former President Donald Trump confirmed Monday evening on Fox News he would be open to declassifying the investigation into his assassination attempt if he were to win a second term this November…

“I would yes. There should be nothing to hide here,” Trump said. “But I think frankly, many things are known right now. But some of the things that are known are bad. How did somebody get on that roof and why wasn’t he reported? Because people saw he was on the roof. You had Trumpers screaming. The woman in the red shirt, she was screaming, ‘There’s a man on the roof.’ And other people are [saying], ‘There is a man on the roof with a gun.’”

“And that was quite a bit before I walked onto the stage. So you would’ve thought somebody would’ve done something about it,” Trump said.

Donald Trump announced his intent to declassify all documents related to the investigation of an alleged assassination attempt against him, should he be re-elected in 2024. Trump hinted at the existence of “deep state” efforts to undermine his presidency, asserting that full transparency is crucial for public trust. He believes revealing these documents will expose corruption and hold accountable those responsible for failing to stop the gunman.

The Unseen Threat

Trump has always positioned himself as a disruptor of the status quo. He has long promised to drain the swamp and shut down corruption in D.C. This announcement aligns with his ongoing rhetoric of battling the so-called “deep state.” He claims that the American people have a right to know the truth about the forces that have worked against him, framing this as a battle between transparency and corruption.

A Shocking Development

In the days that followed the attempt, we learned about the shocking failures of the Secret Service and local police. The head of the Secret Service spoke at length with members of Congress. But nothing she shared helped reassure Americans that this agency knows what it’s doing. The USSS neglected to properly secure the building on which the gunman perched.

On top of this, the gunman was seen an hour before the rally. He was clearly a suspicious individual that should have been stopped by police. Yet, he was allowed to wander freely around the grounds. These are just a few of the details that have shocked and outraged Americans. Some are so blown away about the failures, that they have accused the Biden administration of wanting Trump to be in harm’s way.

Political Implications

Trump’s promise to declassify these documents could have significant political ramifications. His supporters view this move as a step towards exposing governmental corruption, while his critics may see it as another controversial tactic to rally his base. The potential release of these documents could spark a major public debate about the integrity of the intelligence community and the legitimacy of Trump’s claims.

Key Takeaways:

  • Trump promises to declassify investigation documents of the failed attempt on his life.
  • The announcement underscores his commitment to transparency and fighting corruption.
  • This move could significantly impact public trust and political discourse.
