Donald Trump might be leading in GOP primary polls, but he is facing many challenges to his return to the White House.
Democrats have launched four criminal cases against him. The media continues what appears to be intentionally negative coverage.
And in many states, Republican and Democrat groups have sued to block Trump from winning. Many of these cases have reached high courts. And in one major blue state, a judge just decided on Trump’s fate.

A Michigan judge ruled Tuesday that former President Donald Trump can stay on the state’s primary ballot in 2024, dismissing one of several challenges to block a Trump candidacy by using an insurrection clause in the U.S. Constitution.“Each and every one of these ridiculous cases have LOST because they are all un-Constitutional left-wing fantasies orchestrated by monied allies of the Biden campaign…” [said Trump spokesman Steven Cheung].
Yet again, a group had tried to block Trump from appearing on the GOP primary ballot. Several groups have attempted this in other states. Most have argued that Trump is barred from serving in public office, over a rarely-used section of the 14th Amendment.
They accuse Trump of engaging in “insurrectionist,” seemingly blaming him for the actions of others on January 6, 2021. Democrats have promoted the narrative that Donald Trump incited the actions of those who entered the Capitol on that day, claiming it was an attempt to overthrow the government.
But a Michigan judge ruled that Trump cannot be barred from primary ballots, using this amendment. Those behind the lawsuit claimed they were going to appeal it to the state Supreme Court.
Trump spokesman Steven Cheung claimed the groups behind these lawsuits are being funded by “allies of the Biden campaign.” The Trump campaign believes these Democrats are trying to “deny the American people the right to choose” their presidential candidates.
Other cases like this are still pending in other states. So far, every case has been decided in Trump’s favor. But there is a possibility that some states will decide to block him from appearing on the primary ballots, or the general election ballot.
