In the years since Donald Trump left office, life in America has gotten exponentially worse in many ways. Under the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris regime, the economy has gone to shambles.

Inflation is also at an all-time high, leaving millions of Americans struggling to put food on the table.

As if this wasn’t bad enough, the border crisis has gotten out of control. Instead of cracking down on illegal immigration, Biden and Harris have been catering to migrants by allowing many of them to remain in America.

Rather than deport these illegal aliens, they send them to “sanctuary cities” all over the country. This has endangered the lives of millions of Americans. Indeed, there’s no telling how many of these illegal immigrants are violent criminals.

Sadly, the people of the “sanctuary city” of Athens, Georgia, learned the hard way just how dangerous these migrants can be when the University of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley was brutally murdered by an illegal alien earlier this year.

When asked about Riley’s murder during a town hall on “Falkner Focus” on Wednesday, Trump made a promise that should have voters everywhere ready to elect him immediately.

“My son is a Georgia Bulldog. He was on campus the day Laken Riley was murdered,” the attendee told the former president. “Terrifying for all those kids, right? I wanted to know… how quickly in a sanctuary city –  like they’re calling Athens, Georgia – how quickly can you remove those threats to our societies that our children can go out on a run as they rightfully should be able to do in a park in the daytime by themselves?”

“We can do things in terms of moving people out. We can move them out of the sanctuary cities. We’re going to end all sanctuary cities in the United States, and we’re going to go back to normalcy,” he pledged in response. “And we’re going to have law and order.”

This Is What America Needs Right Now

Doing away with sanctuary cities is exactly what this country needs right now. For years, Biden and Harris have been prioritizing illegal aliens over the safety of the American people. Sadly, American citizens like Laken Riley and countless others have had to pay for this with their lives.

While Harris has also pledged to crack down on the border crisis if she wins this election, her promises are empty. She’s had four years to put policies in place that would crack down on the border. Biden even made Harris his “border czar,” seemingly giving her free rein to do whatever it took to fix this crisis. Instead, Harris has allowed the situation to get far worse on her watch.

In contrast, Trump is someone who actually keeps his promises when it comes to the border. That’s why we can trust him to follow through when he says that he will “end all sanctuary cities” as president.

Here’s hoping Trump has the chance to actually make that happen!
