Trump Scores Huge in Latest Report, Crushing Biden In Critical 2024 Election Battle

Sometimes justice takes an indirect route before settling in to serve up some karma. Former President Donald Trump was convicted of felonies by a leftist prosecutor and sympathetic judge and jury, but many Americans and some lawmakers disagreed with the entire process.

On top of that, even some legal scholars claimed justice wasn’t served, and Trump now has a black mark on his life that will be there throughout history. Democrats literally screamed with joy when the verdict was announced – yay, they finally got Trump!

Joe Biden and his administration enthusiastically jumped on the celebratory bandwagon and instantly began campaigning for money based on the verdict. Leftist-loving voters piled on, pouring in millions of dollars in donations.

But the left didn’t see what was coming next… Biden’s efforts to bankroll his campaign off Trump’s conviction only spurred Republican supporters top top the Democrats’ fundraising.

From the Daily Caller:
Former President Donald Trump’s campaign dominated President Joe Biden’s campaign in May fundraising numbers, leaving the operation with more cash-on-hand for the first time in the election cycle, according to FEC filings.

Trump and his Republican National Committee brought in a whopping $141 million during the month of May, out raising the Biden campaign and the Democratic National Committee who brought in $85 million, according to FEC filings filed June 20. The Trump campaign and RNC now have about $170 million in cash on hand, compared to the $157 million cash on hand the Biden campaign and DNC have.

A 12-person Manhattan jury found Trump guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records in May during a trial led by a leftist prosecutor who campaigned on “getting” Trump. The political argument associated with the trial was simple: they believed Trump’s enemies simply wanted to keep him from winning the 2024 presidential election.

However, so far the conviction has backfired on the Democratic Party. In the 24 hours after the verdict, the Trump campaign announced it had raised $54.8 million — this massive haul stunned Democrats as they watched their financial lead over Trump suddenly dwindle.

Biden’s backers have continued to throw money at POTUS despite bipartisan concerns about his age, public and political backlash over his stance toward the Israel-Hamas war, and the devastating southern border crisis. His faithful followers believed “getting” Trump in court would be the end of the race for the presidency.

“They expected Trump to lose the ability to raise money by charging him with these over the top prosecutions,” Mark R. Weaver, a GOP strategist, previously told the Daily Caller. “They didn’t realize that the liquid they were throwing on the fire was not water, but gasoline.”

Trump also had a successful April where his campaign raised more than Biden’s by $25 million for the first time in the election cycle. Up until that point, Biden and the Democrats enjoyed a considerable lead over the Trump campaign by almost $100 million. But that lead has since dissipated following Trump’s conviction.

“It looked as though [Trump] might get beat in the primaries by Ron DeSantis or someone else, but then the Biden White House and its allies started bringing bogus and over the top charges against Donald Trump, and it angered a lot of people in the middle who see America as a place where the rule of law and due process matter,” Weaver said.

Middle America has put its money where its mouth is and vocally supported Trump with an influx of cash. So now, the slow wheels of justice appear to have turned in Trump’s favor with the influx of campaign cash.

If the trend holds going into November, he may well be able to look back and thank Democrats for his conviction as the catalyst that vaulted him back to the White House.

Key Takeaways:

  • The Donald Trump campaign pounded Biden with a large cash haul after his felony conviction.
  • The influx of cash in May into Trump’s campaign coffers leaped beyond Biden’s donations.
  • Trump’s cash on hand shocked Democrats as the former president raced ahead.
