No President ever did this – until Donald!
Ever since Donald Trump walked into the White House, he’s been a great friend to the U.S. military—but not more than today.
In just a few short years, our Commander-in-Chief has worked hard to rebuild the greatest fighting force in the world.
Finally, we’ve got a President who puts American heroes first!
And Trump just proved it again: his latest executive order is a huge win for disabled veterans throughout the country.
These people made tough sacrifices for the Red, White and Blue, and now Trump is saying “thank you.”
Via NBC News:
President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced a new plan to eliminate student loan debt for disabled veterans.
‘The debt of disabled veterans will be entirely erased,’ Trump said in a speech at the 75th annual American Veterans convention in Louisville, Kentucky.
See? In words and in actions, Trump proves once again that he respects our heroes!
Like he said, this executive order will “eliminate every penny of federal student loan debt” for veterans who are permanently disabled.
This is truly impressive, and we’re not talking about a small amount, either.
Trump said this order will erase an average of $30,000 for each eligible disabled hero! And with over 25,000 eligible veterans, well…that’s quite the gesture.
In the end, these wounded warriors won’t have to worry about debt hanging over their heads.
Now they can sleep better at night, thanks to a President who recognizes their achievements and sacrifices.
And while Democrats are blathering about erasing ALL student debt – including for perfectly able-bodied individuals – Trump is doing something that makes sense.
If you borrow money, you should work to pay it back. Simple.
But if you’ve already served your country, if you’ve already made great sacrifices, and if you currently can’t work because of those sacrifices, you deserve some compassion.
And that’s what Donald Trump’s executive order is: a compassionate move from a wonderful leader!
SHARE to thank Trump for eliminating student loan debt for our disabled warriors!
