Trump Judge Makes 2 Major Moves in Donald’s Case – Now We Know Where and When the Trial Will Go Down

What’s Happening:

A majority of Americans believe that this DOJ indictment of Donald Trump is politically motivated, according to the latest polls. Democrats are going after Trump, yet again, in an attempt to stop him from winning the next election. But many legal experts have speculated on this case. Does it hold water? Can a court convict a former president?

There is plenty we don’t know. And nobody, not even experts, really know what is going to happen. But updates have come out regarding this history-making trial. And we now know where it will be held.

From Yahoo News:

Donald Trump’s federal trial for the classified documents seized at Mar-a-Lago will be held in Fort Pierce…

Cannon, who lives in Vero Beach, assigned the trial to take place in her Fort Pierce courtroom instead of Miami, where he was indicted earlier this month.

This could have consequences for the case, being moved from Miami to Fort Pierce. But the date could also influence this trial.

From MSN:

The judge presiding over the Justice Department’s criminal case against former president Donald Trump said Tuesday that the trial could begin as early as Aug. 14 — a timetable that is likely to be pushed back as lawyers navigate the complexities of an unprecedented case that hinges on highly sensitive classified documents.

This trial, which was launched by Democrats against their biggest political rival, might begin on August 14, less than two months from now. Just days before the Republican primaries begin! That doesn’t sound politically motivated at all…

But it could be delayed, as lawyers often push back on dates while working on their cases.

Experts have already speculated on the location of the trial. Florida is a conservative-leaning state. And Trump might end up with a jury that is sympathetic toward him. Others have said that even if this case starts soon, it could go on well past the 2024 Election.

It appears news of this case has only helped Donald Trump. His polling has surged among Republicans, who appear outraged that Democrats indicted him. How that holds in the coming months, we’ll have to wait and see.

Key Takeaways:

  • The location of Trump’s DOJ case will be in Fort Pierce, FL.
  • The trial could begin as early as August 14.
