What they often leave out is that the situation at the border is being exploited by human traffickers, smugglers, drug cartels, and other criminal operations. Many of the people coming over the border are victims of these criminal groups.
Even after entering America, they are forced to work for cartels to pay back smugglers. Biden’s neglect of the border crisis has been fueling a wide range of horrific crimes.
Trump vowed to not only stop the flow of migrants but punish American groups helping it. These groups might be unwittingly aiding criminal activity. But despite evidence suggesting criminals are using the border, immigration activists continue to try to get millions into the country.
Many have warned that this crisis is set to undermine the United States’ national security. Already, it has damaged the economies of border states, cities, and communities across the country. Experts warn that Middle Eastern terrorists could be using the border to enter the U.S.
So far, Biden has appeared to do nothing about it.
