Trump Already Winning on Border Crisis As Migrants Turn Back in Mexico

Donald Trump isn’t wasting any time. His plans for his next term are as bold as they are necessary. Top of the list? Fixing the border.

During his first term, Trump made significant progress on the immigration crisis. But after four years of Biden’s open-border policies, the situation has spiraled out of control.

What was once a serious problem is now a full-blown catastrophe. Millions of migrants have poured into the country, straining resources and escalating crime. Trump is ready to put a stop to it.

His plan? Deport millions of illegal aliens, especially those who entered under Biden’s watch. The goal is to restore law and order while ensuring American citizens no longer have to bear the brunt of reckless immigration policies.

Meanwhile, migrants heading toward the U.S. are already feeling the heat. Many are questioning whether it’s worth risking their lives just to face Trump’s tough new policies.

From Daily Caller:
Disillusioned with President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming immigration agenda and terrified of the level of crime in Mexico, many migrants are choosing to go back to their home countries.

Between 50 to 100 Venezuelan nationals in Mexico are now requesting what is known as “voluntary return” every week, according to a Venezuelan official that spoke with Reuters, who added that many of these migrants have faced perilous situations in Mexico, such as kidnappings and sexual exploitation.

Migrants: Changing Course and Turning Back

The migration crisis has taken a surprising turn. Reports reveal that many migrants stuck in Mexico are now reconsidering their plans. Instead of waiting for asylum, they’re heading back to their home countries.

Fear of Trump’s looming presidency—and the obstacles he plans to reinstate—has sparked a wave of voluntary returns.

Take Venezuelan nationals in Mexico, for instance. According to Reuters, 50 to 100 of them are requesting “voluntary return” each week. They’ve endured kidnappings, sexual exploitation, and extortion.

Life in Mexico’s migrant camps is grim, and Trump’s promise to cancel the CBP One app is the final straw for many. This app, introduced by the Biden administration, allowed migrants to schedule asylum appointments. Over 800,000 migrants have used it, but Trump plans to scrap it entirely.

Nidia Montenegro, a 52-year-old Venezuelan, sums up the mood. “I am traumatized. If I don’t get the appointment, I will go back,” she told Reuters.

She’s not alone. Migrants are weighing the risks and deciding it’s better to return home than face more uncertainty under Trump’s strict policies.

Trump’s Immigration Agenda: The Return of Law and Order

Trump’s immigration agenda is as tough as it gets. He’s promised to execute the largest deportation operation in U.S. history.

He’ll restart wall construction, bring back the Remain in Mexico policy, and end Biden’s asylum loopholes. This isn’t just about stemming the tide of illegal immigration—it’s about reversing the damage done by years of weak leadership.

Trump has been clear: “As President, I will immediately end the migrant invasion of America.” That means stopping illegal entries, ending migrant flights, and shutting down Kamala Harris’s controversial CBP One app.

This isn’t rhetoric. It’s a strategy to regain control of the border and protect American sovereignty.

But not everyone’s giving up. A few migrants still believe they can make it to the U.S. before Trump takes office.

“I trust I will arrive before Mr. Trump takes office,” said Johana, a Venezuelan national currently in Guatemala. She’s holding out hope for an appointment or, failing that, another way across the border.

The Media’s Narrative vs. Reality

Of course, the liberal media is spinning this as a sob story. They portray migrants as helpless victims of Trump’s “heartless” policies. But they conveniently ignore the fact that Biden’s open-border agenda created the crisis in the first place.

Migrants aren’t fleeing Trump’s America—they’re fleeing the chaos Biden left behind.

Reports from migrant camps show a different picture. Many migrants feel defeated and are giving up. Todd Bensman, a national security fellow, says “most everyone” he spoke to in Mexico City is planning to return home.

This isn’t a sign of cruelty. It’s proof that Trump’s policies are already working. The mere prospect of his return has shifted the calculus for those considering illegal entry.

Key Takeaways:

  • Trump’s Border Plan: Deport millions, rebuild the wall, and end Biden’s disastrous policies.
  • Migrants Turning Back: Many are giving up on entering the U.S. and returning home.
  • Proof of Trump’s Strength: His leadership is already restoring order before he’s even in office.
