Throughout Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ time in office, many have argued that they have weaponized the Department of Justice like never before. In a new speech over the weekend, Donald Trump revealed what he plans to do to fix this if he wins this election.
Trump claimed that the “Harris-Biden” administration is working to imprison him because of his efforts to “expose corruption.” He held nothing back as he attacked their Department of Justice, which Trump feels has been targeting him and his supporters for years.
The way that the Department of Justice continues to go after the January 6 protesters is perhaps the most blatant example of just how politicized it has become. If Trump succeeds in winning this election, however, it’s clear that some big changes are coming for the Justice Department.

“The moment we win, we will rapidly review the cases of every political prisoner unjustly victimized by the Harris regime, and I will sign their pardons on Day One.“We will completely overhaul Kamala’s corrupt department of injustice and turn the Justice Department back into the best law enforcement agency on the planet. Instead of persecuting Republicans, they will focus on taking down bloodthirsty cartels, transnational gangs, and Radical Islamic Terrorists,” Trump said.

Trump later doubled down on this on his Truth Social media platform. He warned that he would jail those “involved in unscrupulous behavior” this election.

“WHEN I WIN, those people that CHEATED will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, which will include long term prison sentences so that this Depravity of Justice does not happen again,” Trump wrote late Saturday…“Please beware,” he went on, “that this legal exposure extends to Lawyers, Political Operatives, Donors, Illegal Voters, & Corrupt Election Officials. Those involved in unscrupulous behavior will be sought out, caught, and prosecuted at levels, unfortunately, never seen before in our Country.”
It’s Time For A Department Of Justice Overhaul
There was a time when both sides of the political aisle could trust the Department of Justice. Sadly, those days are long gone.
The Department of Justice has become such a tool for the left that conservatives everywhere can no longer trust it to have their best interests at heart. Instead, those on the right are made to feel like enemies of the state by a Justice Department that is far more focused on being woke than it is on actually making America a safer place.
Democrats have made a habit out of accusing Trump and his supporters of the very things that they are doing themselves. When Trump was in office, they constantly accused him of weaponizing the Department of Justice. That’s then exactly what Democrats did as soon as Joe Biden took office.
Democrats also accused Trump of cheating in the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections. Meanwhile, there’s increasing evidence coming out that Democrats are the ones cheating in elections. Finally, Democrats often accused Republicans of being violent domestic terrorists. In reality, it is Democrats who constantly exhibit violent behavior that should be looked into by the Justice Department.
We applaud Trump for pledging to step up and focus on reforming the Department of Justice as soon as he takes office. In the end, under Biden and Harris, it truly has become the “Department of Injustice.” That needs to change immediately!
