It is not uncommon for former presidential officials to criticize Joe Biden. His policies have failed to live up to his promises. Biden appears to be doing what his leftist advisers tell him to do—reneging on his moderate reputation.

But it is pretty alarming when someone from the Obama administration turns on Joe. These Democrats worked closely with both Obama and Biden, years ago.

Yet some of them have been downright vicious in their attacks against the Biden administration. One of Obama’s top stars was adviser David Axelrod. And he has very few kind words to say about what Biden has been doing.

That is the wrong strategy,” Axelrod said.

David Axelrod blasted Joe Biden for continuing to claim the U.S. economy is doing well. Under Biden, inflation has been raging. The prices for nearly everything, from groceries to clothing, have gone up.

Most companies are struggling. Hiring (aside from part-time work) is down across all industries.

Yet Biden is seemingly trying to gaslight Americans into thinking they are doing much better than they actually are. Axelrod said it drove him crazy to hear Biden brag about his crippled economy.

Axelrod said Biden should put himself “on the side” of working people. Joe grew up in a working-class family. Yet he is talking down to working Americans, ignoring their concerns and fears.

Biden’s policies have seemingly only helped the liberal elite. Regular Americans suffer from crime, inflation, the open border, and much more. Yet Biden’s handlers seem to be telling him to ignore all that and lie to voters.

Doesn’t sound like a winning strategy, don’t you think?
