Top MAGA Leader Hit with Emergency – Rushed into Surgery for Rare Condition

Colorado Republican Lauren Boebert has been stirring up Congress since getting elected a few years ago. She made a name for herself after challenging then-Speaker Pelosi’s rules that deprived congressmembers of protection.

Her strong MAGA ideology has made her controversial among the establishment-serving House. The media has gone after her recently, trying to drag her personal life into the spotlight.

But Boebert has continued to fight, especially in the increasingly liberal state of Colorado. Now, word has come out that she is facing another brutal fight. She was rushed to the hospital and had emergency surgery for a rare condition.

From The New York Post:
Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert underwent emergency surgery to remove a blood clot and was diagnosed with May-Thurner syndrome, she announced Tuesday evening…

“After undergoing a CT Scan, doctors found an acute blood clot and diagnosed her with May-Thurner Syndrome, which is a rare condition that disrupts blood flow,” a statement on Facebook from her campaign read.

Doctors scheduled and performed surgery on Boebert on Tuesday morning to remove the blood clot and add a stent to address her symptoms.

Rep. Boebert was rushed to the hospital to address a blood clot in her leg. Doctors diagnosed her with May-Thurner syndrome. This rare condition disrupts blood flow. Doctors performed surgery to remove the clot and added a stent to prevent future clots.

This vascular condition happens when an artery compresses a vein in the pelvis, blocking off blow flow from the leg back to the heart. If untreated, it could lead to serious problems like strokes or heart attacks.

It is unknown how Boebert developed this condition. Her campaign stated that “dehydration, travel, and extended periods of sitting” could have contributed to it. According to reports, women between the ages of 20 and 45 who have given birth are more likely to get this condition.

Doctors said the surgery was successful and the lawmaker is recovering. She has vowed to return to Congress soon, though a date has not been announced.
