You probably know all about how big, Democrat-run cities are falling apart. But the people living in those cities don’t seem to know this. Democrats keep voting for policies that are turning once-beautify cities into garbage dumps. They legalized drugs, defunded the police, ignored the homeless, and put criminals back on the streets.
Big surprise, things aren’t working out too well.
A once beloved city, a tourist destination, is nearly in ruins. Its downtown has suffered tremendously, as businesses keep closing their doors. And now, a major tech CEO is raising the alarm. He is giving this city his diagnosis. And he says it will “never” recover.

Marc Benioff, the CEO of Salesforce, has claimed that downtown San Francisco will not be going back to its pre-pandemic state.
The Associated Press reported that office vacancy rates in San Francisco were 24.8% in the first quarter, more than five times higher than pre-pandemic levels and well above the average rate of 18.5% for the nation’s top cities…
Benioff said that the area is “never going back to the way it was” and advised Mayor London Breed to convert some offices into housing and hire more police.
The CEO of Salesforce predicted that downtown San Francisco will “never go back” to the flourishing place it was before the COVID lockdowns. Locals are blaming work-at-home practices, but give me a break. Nearly every city in America has some people working from home. Many businesses were able to bring workers back to the office.
The reason SF’s downtown is empty is because nobody wants to get stabbed by a deranged homeless person on their way to work.
Stores are closing. Even the biggest shopping center is giving up and handing its property back to the lender. Nobody wants to be in downtown San Francisco, which use to be one of the hottest tourist centers in America.
What is the real reason? Because SF has refused to clean up a homeless epidemic that was raging long before COVID. Like most blue cities, it has defunded police, put criminals back on the streets, and refused to prosecute crimes like shoplifting and break-ins.
That is the real reason the downtown is a wasteland. And the reason it will “never” go back to what it was, is because Democrats refuse to reverse their suicidal policies.
