Supreme Court Pulls Rug Out From Liberals – They Just Declined Lawsuit For The Military To Draft Women

What’s Happening:

In this day and age, Americans must look to the Supreme Court to defend our values and traditions.

As Joe Biden tries to undermine everything we stand for, the court is left holding the Constitution together.

On an almost daily basis, radical liberal groups create lawsuits to redefine our society.

One group actually wanted to get women drafted, claiming it was sexist to draft only men.

But the court refused to even hear the case.

From The Hill:

The Supreme Court on Monday turned down a lawsuit alleging that the United States’ all-male military draft amounts to unconstitutional discrimination on the basis of sex…

The challengers in the new case, backed by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), had argued that the elimination of sex-based barriers in the military without a concurrent broadening of the draft to include women created unjustified sex-based discrimination against men.

The ACLU flailed in anger over the court’s decision. By refusing to hear the case, the court is preventing any changes to the male-only draft policy.

The radical activist group claimed it was “sexist” to draft only men. They claimed it was an outdated notion “that women are less fit to serve in the military and that men are less able to stay home as caregivers.”

Dang, the ACLU is woefully out of touch with the times. First of all, the draft hasn’t been used since the Vietnam War.

Anyone that wants to serve in the Armed Forces, male or female, can just sign up any time they like.

Nobody is saying women are less fit to serve in the military. For generations, American women have proudly served in the Armed Forces.

Caring for families and children has not stopped them from doing so.

But why does the ACLU want the government to rip mothers away from their children during a time of war?

The draft is only used if the military needs soldiers during a serious time of conflict. By law, every man between the ages of 18-25.

Something tells me if we are in a conflict so severe that we have to use the draft age, we’ll have plenty of men to draft. We can let the women stay home and serve in other ways.

The Supreme Court made the smart decision not to take the leftist bait.

Key Takeaways:

  • The Supreme Court refused to hear a case addressing the male-only draft.
  • A liberal group argued that drafting only men is “sexist.”
  • The court decided it was Congress’s job to determine draft requirements.
