What’s Happening:
Since the start of the COVID pandemic, we’ve watched Democrats’ hypocrisy explode out of control. They ranted and raved over Republicans who refused to push radical mandates. But, time and again, many of these liberals were spotted ignoring their own rules.
That includes California’s Nancy Pelosi, Gavin Newsom, and Eric Garcetti.
But it seems that there are more COVID hypocrites in California than we thought. The state has a strict indoor mask mandate until the middle of the month. You have to wear a mask while inside unless you are actively eating. On top of that, children are forced to wear masks, no exceptions.
So, why did so many celebrities show up for the Super Bowl, with no masks in sight? From Fox News:
Social media erupted after seeing Jay-Z, Charlize Theron, LeBron James, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck enjoying themselves at the game without a mask while they were not eating or drinking, a violation of California’s indoor mask mandate that is in place until Feb. 15.
Twitter users were quick to point out that children in California are forced to wear masks at schools where strict coronavirus restrictions include being forced to eat outside in the rain in some cases.
One set of rules for me, another for thee. Numerous celebrities were spotted at the Super Bowl last night. None of them were following California’s indoor mask mandate. Oh, and were they fined or punished? No, they weren’t even told by stadium staff to put on a mask. Even LA Mayor Eric Garcetti was at the game, maskless as usual.
Americans, as you can imagine, were not pleased. They were quick to point out that the average person in California has to wear a mask indoors—or face fines and penalties. Poor kids can’t even go to school without wearing a mask. They are forced to eat outside, even if it is raining.
All this to maintain a false façade that these are steps to “manage” an unmanageable disease. More people contracted (and died) from COVID while Biden was in office, despite the drastic mandates and restrictions he and his party put into place. But we know this was never about COVID. This was about the ruling liberal elite grabbing more power over the American people.
While we are forced to wear face diapers, dehumanized and robbed of our liberty, they get to do whatever they please! The rich and fabulous get to break rules that are supposedly “saving lives.” Does COVID not exist around rich liberals? Or will they say they are vaccinated and “safe?”
If that’s the case, then everybody should be able to go maskless. But we know that’s not true in CA.
