Democrats got lucky when they squeaked out a win in 2020. But can they count on another pandemic in 2022? In 2024?
They need to find a new way to manipulate the voter base, to ensure no good candidates ever win again.
I know! How about we let uninformed, uneducated people who do not work or pay taxes decide who will lead us? Maybe people who aren’t even legal adults?
Sounds crazy? Well guess what: one leftist squad member wants it a reality.
Rep. @AyannaPressley: “My amendment gets to the heart of H.R. 1 and recognizes the contributions that young people continue to make to our democracy. By lowering the federal voting age from 18 to 16 years of age, my amendment would enfranchise young Americans.”
Democrat Pressley wants to lower the voting age from the already too low of 18 all the way down to 16.
Because nobody has more emotional stability, wisdom, and understanding of the issues like a kid in high school.
Does Pressley think she is fooling anybody? We know that even 18-year old’s rarely vote in elections. But add the millions of 16–17-year-olds and do you know what you get?
Millions more ballots ready to be “harvested” and used by people other than their intended target.
Pressley claims she cares about the “contributions” made by people who spend more time playing games than contributing to society. We’re not buying it.
She cares about finding new ways of undermining our election integrity, mass-producing ballots that can be exploited by anyone.
Come on, you know that’s the truth.
Teenagers do not pay taxes, they cannot buy homes, most do not even work part-time. What are they “contributing” that requires them to vote on crucial issues?
Here’s an idea: let’s wait until someone is actually earning a living, providing for a family, and understands a little bit about our economy before they decide to cast a ballot.
Heck, they’ll know more than the average congressman!
- Democrat Pressley wants to lower the voting age to 16.
- The squad member believes teenagers contribute to society.
- Such a move might make elections even more vulnerable and unreliable.
