Special Counsel Drops Gavel On Biden’s Energy Secretary – Granholm Used Office to Promote Her Party, Broke Law

What’s Happening:

Not much good can be said about Joe Biden’s administration heads. They have dropped the ball on the supply chain, open border, inflation, and gas price crisis.

But it looks like his head of the Energy Department has done more than just ignore a crippling gas crisis. According to the findings of a special counsel, she violated the law to push the Democratic Party.

From Daily Wire:

Biden Energy Secretary and former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm violated the Hatch Act during an October 2021 interview when she used her office to promote Democratic candidates, according to the U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC)…

The OSC determined that Granholm’s comments crossed the line as they were “directed at the success of the Democratic Party.” The special counsel, however, decided not to pursue disciplinary action.

According to a report from the OSC, Biden’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm violated the Hatch Act to promote Democrat candidates.

Yet, despite the fact she abused her high position in government to promote a partisan group, she will only get a slap on the wrist.

I guess when you are a high-ranking member of the DNC, they look out for you.

Granholm said it was “good news” that voting gave Democrats a majority in Congress. As a member of a government agency, she is not allowed to take sides.

Ironic, I know, since all of Biden’s cabinet members are entrenched Democrats who work directly for the DNC.

But the law is still the law and she broke it.

This isn’t the first time, though, that someone within the Biden administration abused their position to push partisan politics.

Jen Psaki, former White House press secretary, more often sounded like a DNC spokesperson than a member of the administration.

She even got into partisan fights with senators, over their decisions.

Why should we be surprised that this administration is anything but partisan? We know all they seem to care about is ensuring Democrats keep winning elections.

Address actual problems, like the energy crisis? That comes dead last.

Key Takeaways:

  • Biden’s energy secretary violated the Hatch Act in promoting Democrat candidates.
  • The Office of Special Counsel ruled she did so during an October 2021 interview.
  • Although she broke the law, she will not face any consequences.
