Democrats have been panicking in recent years, thanks to major moves in Republican states. Red states have passed laws that struck a blow against the left’s transgender movement in public schools.
And, after the landmark Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, many red states have passed pro-life legislation.
But that’s only for starters. Twenty-eight states have, in recent years, passed laws that rock one of the left’s biggest holy grails. These laws have secured a major right and just leaving Democrats reeling. Now, yet another state has joined others, becoming the 29th to pass a similar law.
From Breitbart:
The South Carolina Senate passed the constitutional carry conference report on Wednesday and on Thursday Gov. Henry McMaster (R-SC) will sign it into law.The legislation will take effect immediately…
The conference report passed the state House on Tuesday and passed the state Senate on Wednesday.
Constitutional carry will be signed into law by McMaster during a private signing ceremony on Thursday and a ceremonial, non-private signing will occur at a future date.
South Carolina’s legislature passed a constitutional carry conference report, which will be signed into law by the state’s governor this week. Once signed, the piece of legislation will go into effect immediately.
This makes South Carolina the 29th state to pass constitutional carry. This policy grants law-abiding American citizens the right to conceal carry a firearm—without the need for a license or permit.
Many states have outright banned concealed carry. Some have even banned Americans from possessing a gun outside of their homes. Many blue states have so many restrictions to buy or own a firearm, that it is nearly impossible to acquire one.
In response to the left’s ongoing gun control agenda, Republican-led states have passed laws like this. These policies allow Americans to carry a firearm on their person while outside the home. This does not seem to invalidate, however, establishments that ban the possession of firearms on their premises.
Other states allow concealed carry, but require training and a permit process. But now, more than half of all U.S. states allow citizens to arm themselves, without unnecessary paperwork or red tape.
Key Takeaways:
- South Carolina passed a constitutional carry law, which goes into effect immediately.
- It has become the 29th state to pass constitutional carry.
- This policy grants law-abiding Americans the right to conceal carry without a permit.
