The company was also granted $50 million shortly afterward by the Biden administration…Shortly after the campaign donation in December, Dish was also able to obtain a $50 million grant to expand its 5G coverage nationwide. It was called the “largest award” of its kind, according to the company, and was made available through the CHIPS and Science Act.
Just a few months after Dish Network CEO donated money to Biden’s campaign, his DOJ dropped a massive lawsuit against him. Not only that, but Biden awarded a $50 million grant to the company after the donation was made.

Not only did Ergen donate money to Biden, but through his company’s PAC, he had donated over $5 million to Democrat candidates. The DOJ shut down the lawsuit to seemingly prevent Ergen from testifying under oath.
In recent years, the DOJ has been accused of perverting the course of justice to favor Joe Biden. It refused to investigate Hunter Biden’s laptop in October 2020 to avoid influencing the election. It had a document that appeared to incriminate the Bidens but refused to investigate it.
And the DOJ is currently prosecuting Donald Trump, Biden’s top rival in the 2024 Election.
