Joe Biden himself is trying to encourage young women to look for abortions. He promoted a website that shows underage women how to circumvent laws that require parental consent.
And so, Republicans went on the warpath.

“The White House advocating for underage loopholes in getting an abortion is beyond sickening,” [Rep. Lisa] McClain said on Tuesday. “Shame on you, Mr. President.”
Why It’s Important:
Thanks to the Supreme Court, numerous states are already outlawing abortion. So, the left is trying to find ways to encourage women to still abort their children.
Joe Biden even promoted a website that instructs women on where to get an abortion and how to avoid parental consent, even when laws require it.
Republicans blasted Biden for this shocking and disgusting move. It’s one thing to defend abortion in states that have kept it legal.
But to encourage scared, young teenagers to go hunting for an abortion—and to lie to their parents?
Is Joe Biden really serious about this? Doesn’t he know parents have rights, and these parents aren’t going to respond well to such a recommendation?
Top Republican leaders like Elise Stefanik called out Biden saying he’s “trying to undermine parents,” and she’s hardly the only GOP leader to do so.
Republican Rep. Brad Wenstrup called it “sad” saying Biden is “failing to provide any support for the millions of women looking for help to bring their pregnancy to fruition.”
The battle over abortion is far from over. Overturning Roe was a major win — however, Democrats will continue to find ways to encourage women to abort their babies—even in red states.
