Health concerns sparked questions over the next Presidential debate.
Joe Biden claimed he would walk out if Trump was still positive.
But the president assured the country he’d provided multiple negative tests to alleviate worries.
After all, they managed to do a live vice-presidential debate with those barriers, right?
It seems the CPD wanted to change the rules at the last second, requiring the next debate to be “virtual.”
The CPD announced early Thursday that “the second presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which the candidates would participate from separate remote locations.” Steve Scully of C-SPAN is still set to moderate the second presidential debate from Miami.
After how they constantly cut off Trump in a live debate, imagine what stunts they’ll pull in a virtual one.
So, Trump is refusing to participate in this game:
During his interview on Thursday, the president said he wasn’t going to “sit at a computer” to debate, calling it “ridiculous.”
“They’re trying to protect Biden,” Trump said. “Everybody is.”
We’ve seen for years how the debate commission appears biased toward conservatives and the president himself.
Don’t believe it? Then why have all the moderators (including in last night’s VP debate) have strong connections to the Democratic Party?
We all watched how Chris Wallace interrupted Trump, but gave Biden a pass again and again. He didn’t bother to hold Biden to the very questions he asked the candidate.
Imagine the games they’d play with a virtual debate? It seems entirely rigged to help Joe Biden, a man who has trouble just speaking.
In a “virtual” scenario, there’s no way to check if Biden’s using a teleprompter or earpiece. He can easily get answers from his staffers. Also, they can even cut or manipulate the video to suit their needs.
Not to mention cut Trump off in the middle of speaking without even telling him.
Trump has always said the system was rigged. Now we’re seeing it in real-time.
Joe Biden has struggled every step of this campaign. He has struggled at live events, hid in his basement, and made gaffe after gaffe.
Trump took him to school in the first debate, confronting the Democrat in a way nobody has ever dared before.
Biden doesn’t like it when people treat him the way he deserves, so instead of manning up, he appears to be chickening out.
Trump’s campaign blasted the commission, saying they’ll pass on this “sad excuse to bail out Joe Biden” and hold a rally instead.
- The debate commission is demanding a “virtual” debate instead of a live one.
- Trump refused, saying they are protecting Joe Biden.
- Instead, the campaign said they’ll hold a rally instead.
