Top Supreme Court Justice Melts Down – She Just Whined to America Over 1’Sad’ Reality

Thanks to many decisions from the Biden administration, the Supreme Court has its hands full in recent years. The court has become the final barrier between Biden’s most progressive policies and the rights of the American people.

While the court enjoys a conservative majority, there is still a liberal wing. One member of this wing is Justice Sotomayor.

She was elevated to the Supreme Court by Barack Obama. The liberal media celebrated the move because Sotomayor is a woman of color and the first Latina on the court. But lately, it does not seem that the woman—who got rich from joining the SCOTUS—is not up to the workload.

From The New York Post:
Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor vented about being “tired” from her demanding workload on the high court as well as her “frustration” with the conservative-dominated bench…

“Cases are bigger. They’re more demanding. The number of amici are greater, and you know that our emergency calendar is so much more active. I’m tired,” she said, per Bloomberg Law.

“There used to be a time when we had a good chunk of the summer break. Not anymore. The emergency calendar is busy almost on a weekly basis.”

Justice Sonia Sotomayor complained to a group of students at the University of California about her demand workload on the Supreme Court. Apparently, her early years on the court were much easier. Sotomayor made millions selling books, using her clerical staff to promote them.

Now, it appears Sotomayor is required to shoulder more work, as an emergency calendar has been put into place to deal with pressing cases. She lamented to this group that she has a smaller “chunk” of a break during the summer.

One might wonder how most Americans will react to these comments. Few Americans get any summer break—while still getting the pay and prestige of sitting on the highest court in the land. Yet Sotomayor is feeling chaffe for having to handle the rigors of her job.

Some might compare her complaints to a common trend among Democrat leaders. Many Democrats are elected when a city or state is doing well. But when a crisis hits, such as a pandemic or a hurricane, they suddenly are unable to govern.

This certainly has been the case with blue city mayors, who are now suddenly mad that their sanctuary cities are confronted with migrants.

Key Takeaways:

  • Justice Sotomayor complained about her workload to a group of law students.
  • The justice, who was appointed by Obama, lamented over her increased workload.
  • The court has been on an emergency calendar to handle an increase in cases.
