Few would argue that Rush Limbaugh has been a champion of conservative values for years. Even when it wasn’t popular, he fought the good fight.
Many Americans tuned in during his heroic fight against Stage 4 lung cancer. But recently, he missed an entire week of shows, sparking concerns.
So, his longtime producer, Bo Snerdly gave listeners an update.
From Fox News:
“Our prayers are with Rush as he continues to fight the illness he as [sic] been afflicted with. We are still praying for a remission. Today @KenMatthews will fill in for Rush. Thanks for all of your prayers, kind words and wishes for our Rush. God Bless you,” Golden wrote.
Bo updated fans that Rush continues to fight his cancer, but will continue to remain off-air as he does.
He urged everyone listening to pray that the sickness will go into remission and Limbaugh can continue his work.
The country was stunned when, last year, Rush revealed his condition. It even sparked President Trump to award him with the Medal of Freedom.
Over the course of his treatment, Rush has missed only a few shows. But, in this new year, his absence has been growing.
As it can be imagined, the up-to-the-minute word on his condition remains between himself and his family. But it can be assumed he is staying off the air because of the intensity of the battle.
He had previously defied the odds, maintaining his work. And it’s not a stretch to say many Americans are hoping and praying he will recover soon and return.
Now, more than ever, the country needs strong conservative voices fighting back the tide of leftism.
