President Trump continues to battle for election transparency, taking many cases to state lawmakers and the courts. But the fact remains, there is only so much time that he can get this done.
And he recently admitted that, although the facts are on his side, time is not:
President Donald Trump admitted to reporters Thursday that though facts are on his side in the legal fight over the results of the election, time is not.
“As to whether or not I can get this apparatus moving this quickly–because time isn’t on our side…,” Trump said. “Everything else is on our side. Facts are on our side.”
Even though he isn’t admitting defeat, he knows that his team might not have enough time to sort out all the accounts of election problems that are out there.
But he has teased a “plan B” of sorts. He could be getting ready, in football terms, to call and audible:
President Trump has told advisors that he wants to run again in four years, and could potentially announce his bid before or even during Biden’s Inauguration on Jan. 20, according to Fox News’ chief White House correspondent John Roberts, who confirmed a report from The Daily Beast.
According to a report from Fox’s White House correspondent, Donald Trump is mulling running again in four years, if he can’t preserve the results of this election.
The report is not confirmed or verified by anyone besides Roberts, but the account suggests Trump might announce that before or during Biden’s inauguration.
There are plenty of reasons to take this report with a grain of salt. The establishment media has been gunning for Trump since day one. They pushed a Biden “win” long before key states finished counting.
And if Trump, as president, couldn’t overcome irregularities today—why would he be able to win in four years, after Democrats have been calling the shots?
But, if this story is real, we wouldn’t be a bit surprised. Trump said he never got into this to expand his prestige or power. He did it to help millions of Americans suffering thanks to the D.C. swamp.
In just four years, he made a tremendous impact on our country—one that will be felt for years to come.
A second time, either now or in four years, would only continue his legacy of restoring American strength, dignity, and prosperity.
There’s no telling what America will be like under a President Biden. Will there even be a democracy left? If he was able to win through alleged fraud now, what might happen in 2024?
Regardless of that, Trump is determined never to give up.
