Liz Cheney apparently thought she was safe. Attempts to rebuke her for voting against Trump failed in February.
So, she doubled down on her Anti-Trump views, continuing to attack the 45th president.
Now, things are getting really bad for the Wyoming representative. Word is growing that House Republicans are fed up with her “me first” attitude.
And now, Jim Jordan reveals that the decision is all but settled.
From the New York Post:
Rep. Liz Cheney’s days as the No. 3 House Republican may be numbered, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said Wednesday.
Jordan, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, told “Fox News Primetime” that “the votes are there” to remove Cheney as House Republican Conference chair and added that such a vote “will happen, most likely, next Wednesday.”
As the Republican Party realigns to take back Congress in 2022, there is a definite struggle for power.
There are still old-school RINOs and war-loving neocons who thought the 2020 election meant they could kill the MAGA movement.
Republicans like Liz Cheney (among others) thought they could drag the party back into the D.C. swamp.
Those were the people who quickly attacked Trump after November 3 and January 6, hoping to turn America away from his vision, and back to the pro-China, pro-globalist agenda.
But it’s clear that voters want no part of the RINOs’ plans. They are clearly in Trump’s corner, perhaps now more than ever.
It appears that it was only a matter of time until the rank-and-file Republicans inside D.C. woke up to that reality.
There appears to be a strong movement to get rid of those Republicans who still bow to special interest groups and not a vision to put Americans first.
And Jim Jordan says their de facto head, Liz Cheney, is going to lose everything. He vowed that she will be voted from her leadership post by next Wednesday.
It’s sad, really. After February, she could have salvaged her reputation and secured a bright future. Instead, she doubled down, continuing to slander arguably the most popular president in the GOP’s history.
- Jim Jordan revealed House Republicans were ready to vote Cheney from her post.
- This comes as the anti-Trump Republican continued her campaign against the popular president.
- Numerous RINOs tried to jump on Trump after January 6, quickly regretting it.
