If Democrats are going to survive, they need the support of the next generation of American voters. And, since the left doesn’t play fair, they’ve spent decades trying to brainwash young Americans into believing their “woke” lies.

They have a huge advantage, since government-run public schools are almost entirely staffed by liberal teachers. Parents are powerless to stop these schools from teaching their kids toxic curricula like CRT or transgender ideology. But one red state just sent Democrats running for the hills. Because the governor just awarded parents school choice.

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds signed the Students First Act on Tuesday morning at the Statehouse.

The bill allows each student to use, at any school, the sum the state allocates for a child in public schools. In fiscal year 2023, that amount is $7,598, according to the bill’s fiscal note…

“Parents all across Iowa, you’re in charge of your kids’ education,” the bill’s floor manager in the House, Speaker Pro Tempore Rep. John Wills, R-Spirit Lake, said at the news conference that accompanied Reynolds’ signing the bill.

Oh no! Another state just passed a law creating school choice for families. Democrats hate school choice almost as much as they hate white, straight men. The policy provides money that would have gone to a failing, corrupt, public school–straight into parents’ hands.

Parents can use this money to send their children to the school of their choice. That means bad schools can quickly lose money, as parents send their kids to better ones. Obviously, teachers’ unions hate this idea, since they have controlled public schools for years, like the mafia they are.

School choice also strikes a blow against the left’s attempts to brainwash students. If parents don’t want their children being taught critical race theory, or another leftist lie, they can simply send their children to a school that refuses to teach that.

The new Iowa law ensures families of four earning below a certain amount have access to these funds. In the future, these funds will also be available to students who attend nonpublic schools as well as public schools. Meaning more and more families will have access to school choice.

And Democrats can’t do anything about it.
