The mainstream media has been claiming many national polls give Joe Biden a double-digit lead against Trump. You know what that sounds like?
2016 against Hillary. And we all know how that turned out.
Whether these polls are skewed or not is hard to prove. But a more telling factor is trends, meaning how poll numbers move from month to month.
Because trends can indicate how strongly Americans feel about a candidate—and if they are changing their minds.
And the trend is quickly moving in the wrong direction… for Joe Biden:
President Trump has jumped back into the race and now trails Joe Biden by just three points in Rasmussen Reports’ weekly White House Watch survey.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds the likely Democratic presidential nominee earning 47% support among Likely U.S. Voters to Trump’s 44%. Five percent (5%) prefer some other candidate. Four percent (4%) are undecided.
According to this Rasmussen poll, Donald Trump gained seven points in a week. If this speaks to a trend, it suggests that Americans are starting to compare the two candidates and their stance on major issues.
Through the Summer, Americans had to live through nationwide protests (that often turned into riots). They struggled with returning to normal, thanks to governors extending lockdown measures. In addition to that, Americans have watched Joe Biden lurch more and more to the left, signaling he might bow to the radical left if elected.
It’s possible that Americans are losing interest in what Joe Biden has to say, as Trump’s campaign continues its outreach. Keep in mind, the general election season hasn’t officially started and neither candidate hasn’t spent much time holding rallies or events.
Nor have they had a chance to debate one another, which might be a major game-changer.
In 2016, an energetic Donald Trump ran against an establishment Democrat with rumors of ailing health. This time around, an energetic Trump is running against an establishment Democrat that is becoming more and more radical—with very disturbing signs of mental decline.
This shift in the polls might be revealing what Americans truly think of the Democrats’ candidate.
- The latest Rasmussen poll reveals Trump gained seven points in just a week.
- This comes after Joe Biden announced an increasingly radical platform.
- Americans might be worrying, also, about the former vice president’s health.
