This week, the Pentagon admitted that their drone strike of an “ISIS-K” agent actually missed big time.
Instead, they blew up a car killing ten people, including an aid worker and 7 children. What’s even worse is that Biden has personally failed to comment on it.
When pressed for answers, his press secretary made up a bogus excuse. From Fox News:
White House press secretary Jen Psaki was hammered Monday following her decision to invoke President Joe Biden’s personal losses and grief while responding to a question on the botched drone strike in Afghanistan…
“As a human being, as a president, and as somebody who has overseen loss in a variety of scenarios, both as a leader and personally, his reaction is it’s a tragedy…” Psaki said.
Wow, that’s hardly a real answer. But what can we expect from an administration this bad? Tucker Carlson had a better response.
From Real Clear Politics:
“If you fire Mark Milley for killing a bunch of kids unintentionally and then lying about it, maybe the accountability chain will start,” he said. “Maybe they don’t want to fire whoever left hundreds of American citizens behind in Afghanistan and lied about that.”
Jen Psaki, Biden’s press secretary, tried to deflect when reporters wanted answers about the drone strike. Biden has yet to respond directly to it. Psaki seemed to try to play the sympathy card, referring to Biden’s “personal losses.”
Um… what does that have to do with the administration killing ten civilians? And then lying about it for weeks?
Remember, this was the “president” who vowed to “hunt down” the people who took the lives of 13 American service members as well as hundreds of Afghans. Yet the only response the administration appears to have taken resulted in the death of bystanders.
Not satisfied with this answer, Tucker Carlson calls on the termination of Gen. Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff. As a top leader of the Armed Forces, he should be the first person to take responsibility for this tragic mistake.
He’s not the only one. Here’s a war vet on Tucker’s show:
Joe Biden should be calling for accountability at the Pentagon, first with Milley’s firing. Tucker goes on to say that could lead to more accountability from this disorganized, corrupt, and pathetic administration.
Not that we’ll see any of this happen. Until real leaders are returned to the White House, these kinds of tragic messes will continue.
- Jen Psaki excused Biden’s silence over the drone killing of 10 civilians.
- She claimed that Biden’s “personal losses” were enough of an excuse.
- Tucker Carlson called for the firing of Gen. Mark Milley, among other measures.
