Pro-Lifers Just Got Another Massive Victory – Major State Gives The Movement An Explosive Boost

What’s Happening:

Democrats should be panicking right about now. In recent months, Republican states have struck a blow against their biggest agenda. And liberals’ attempts to shut them down brought it before the Supreme Court. Had they left well enough alone, they would have been fine. But now, the highest court might decide in a way that destroyed their biggest platform.

And things are getting worse for them. With Texas and Mississippi leading the way, more Republicans are crafting bills to destroy this hated practice. Arizona has become the next state to put forward a bill that will have pro-lifers rejoicing. And their state Senate just passed it.

From Washington Examiner:

Republicans in the Arizona Senate have passed a bill banning abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy.

The bill, SB 1164, passed through the state Senate in a 16-13-1 vote Tuesday, with all Republican members voting to approve the bill that bans physicians from performing abortions after 15 weeks while providing some exceptions for medical emergencies.

Arizona’s Senate just passed a bill very similar to Texas’ pro-life law. The bill bans abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy. Like the Texas law, it does not throw anyone in jail, but subjects doctors to $10,000 fines—if taken to court.

We know this law has been effective in Texas. After the first month of it going into effect, abortions dropped by 60%. It seems laws like this actually work—and Democrats can’t stand it. How the Supreme Court rules on Mississippi and Texas could mean more states will pass pro-life laws.

The court could decide that Roe v. Wade is unconstitutional. Or that the old court ruling does not prohibit states from passing their own laws regulating abortion. If that’s the case, Texas and Mississippi will score massive victories. And a law signed by Texas’ Gov. Abbott will immediately go into effect, banning the practice entirely.

You better believe many more states will follow Texas and Arizona. Democrats will watch as their biggest agenda goes down in flames. And Planned Parenthood, which profits off this outdated practice, will lose millions of dollars.

Key Takeaways:

  • Arizona’s Senate passed a 15-week abortion ban.
  • The bill is similar to Texas’ heartbeat law, which fines doctors.
  • The Supreme Court is currently deciding on laws out of TX and MS
