How Americans view our current leaders is critical in the outcome of any election. We all know that Biden is far from a popular “president.” Polls reveal his approval is well below 40%. The media has tried to ignore this.

They even held a poll to gauge the popularity of major U.S. leaders. Perhaps they were hoping to give Biden a boost? Instead, Democrats are running for the hill.

A new mainstream poll found that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) ranks #1 in terms of highest net approval rating among all major American politicians…

The poll asked respondents to rate top political figures in the U.S. as either very favorable, favorable, unfavorable, very unfavorable, never heard of them, or no opinion.

The politicians ranked in order were DeSantis (+6), former Vice President Mike Pence (+4), South Carolina Republican Senator Tim Scott (+3).

That’s right. In a mainstream media poll gauging the popularity of top U.S. figures, the best three (the only three with net likeability) were Republicans.

And the winner was none other than Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. He had a +6 net approval rating, meaning more people liked him than didn’t like him.

The next closest was former Vice President Mike Pence, who is a possible 2024 contender. After him was Republican Sen. Tim Scott, who is an influential and popular black conservative.

After that was Donald Trump, who had a net zero approval. Where was Joe Biden? Where do you guess?

He had a -8 approval rating, meaning more people disapproved of him than approved. Are we at all surprised? None of the Democrats named in the survey had a net positive approval. Chuck Schumer had -12, AOC had -12 as well.

Hillary Clinton had -13 and Nancy Pelosi… wait for it… -22!

For someone like DeSantis to not only have a net positive rating in this kind of poll, but the best is very important. He will likely be re-elected this year as Florida governor. But this kind of approval could lead to good things in his future.

Many wonder what his 2024 plans will be. With polls like this, he could very well score the GOP nomination and the presidency.
