After Pence Refuses to Endorse Trump – Donald Reveals What He Really Thinks of Mike

Former Vice President Mike Pence launched his own campaign for president. It didn’t last much longer after the first GOP debate. Despite crashing and burning, he has still refused to get behind Donald Trump.

Although Joe Biden might win a second term, doing untold damage to the country, Pence recently said, “It should come as no surprise that I will not be endorsing Donald Trump this year.”

A few other Republicans have said much the same. We can’t say who they actually want winning the election—but it isn’t a Republican. Trump was recently asked about Pence’s comments. This was his stunning response.

From Fox News:
Former President Trump is a man on a mission — to win back the White House in November — and he doesn’t have time for Republicans who are standing in his way, he suggested in Florida on Tuesday.

“Oh, I couldn’t care less,” Trump told the press corps. “I couldn’t care less. We need patriots. We need strong people in our country. Our country is going downhill very fast, very rapidly.”

He added: “Millions of people coming across the border, coming from jails, from prisons, coming from mental institutions and insane asylum terrorists. We need strong people in this country. We don’t need weak people.”

Trump said he “couldn’t care less” that Mike Pence didn’t endorse him. It seems that whatever relationship they had is now over. Trump seemed to slam Pence hard when he said “We need patriots” and “We don’t need weak people.”

The former president pointed out how the country is suffering under Joe Biden. He reminded the reporters that millions of migrants have crossed the border. He even claimed that “insane asylum terrorists” are being allowed in.

Trump warned that the country was “going downhill very fast.” He affirmed that America needs “strong people” leading the government. It seems he thinks Pence is weak and unfit to govern again.

Pence has recently spoken out against Trump and his populist movement. The former vice president claims he supports true conservative values. Yet everything he says and does seems to benefit the D.C. establishment and politicians like Joe Biden.

Trump’s rebuke is biting—and will be shared by his supporters. Pence was unable to build a following during the primary cycle. It is unlikely he will be able to return to public office.

Key Takeaways:

  • Mike Pence announced he was not endorsing Donald Trump for president.
  • Trump fired back saying he “couldn’t care less.”
  • The former president hit at Pence calling him “weak.”
