Seconds After Pelosi Appears at Musical Festival, Hundreds of Attendees Make Nancy Regret It

While Democrats are hoping a recent surge at the polls will spell victory in November, most forecasts still show Republicans retaking control of the House.

A few of the more interesting reports include “invisible voters” in the form of “MAGA” citizens; some believe that current surveys don’t count enough of these individuals.

And if the GOP does reclaim the House, it’s very possible that current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will be in trouble.

Even people in deep blue states like New York aren’t big fans of the Democrat leader, as evidenced by the crowd reaction when Pelosi took the stage at a music festival in NYC.

The Speaker attended the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park and actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas introduced Pelosi, saying she would talk about climate change and pollution.

Unfortunately, either members of the crowd weren’t interested in hearing about either topic, or they just didn’t want to see Pelosi on the stage at all.

Videos started popping up on social media immediately afterward, and it’s clear that the Speaker was getting booed seconds after walking on stage:

Despite the boos, Pelosi went on with her speech, citing “recently enacted historic climate legislation,” which will pour $370 billion into fighting the “climate crisis.”

She ignored the hecklers but it’s possible they might’ve cut her speech short, because she then said she’d keep her comments to a minimum so the show could continue.

Global Citizen thanked the Speaker for her performance but it’s pretty obvious that not everyone wanted her to show up. Though New York is heavily Democratic, that doesn’t mean everyone is aboard the leftist hype train.

Even a few of her Democrat colleagues have quietly suggested that Pelosi’s time as Speaker might be coming to an end.

Pelosi recently predicted that Democrats would hold both the House and Senate after the midterm elections, despite projections to the contrary. This earned her plenty of backlash, even from her own Party.

Her husband also came under fire in 2022 due to a controversial DUI situation, and the Speaker is one of the right-wing’s favorite targets.

This video proves that at least some people, even in blue states, aren’t especially happy with Pelosi and the Democrats right now. The economy is ailing badly, and crime is surging in many Democrat-run states.

And showing up at a music festival to push your climate agenda might not have been the best idea.

Key Takeaways:

  • House Speaker Nancy Pelosi got booed during a music festival in NYC.
  • She took the stage to talk about the “historic climate legislation,” but then cut her speech short.
  • New polls suggest that Republicans will retake the House in November and if that happens, Pelosi is likely out of a job.
