After Nancy Pelosi’s Laptop Gets Stolen – The FBI Wrongly Raids Home In The Faraway State Of Alaska

What’s Happening:

Poor Nancy. Poor unpopular, unlikable, unlucky Nancy.

On the day of January 6, when all sorts of things were happening in the Capitol, one of her office laptops was stolen.

Can’t say for sure why somebody would just steal one laptop from the entire Capitol Building. But apparently, it was a big deal.

Federal authorities have been searching for months for it. Why? Did it contain Nancy’s favorite oatmeal cookie recipe? Or something more concerning?

But their search led them to break down the door of home thousands of miles away.

It turns out, though, it was the wrong home.

From Fox News:

The Alaska owner of a boutique hotel in Homer said federal agents searched her home this week, after having mistaken her for another woman in an effort to recover Nancy Pelosi’s stolen laptop…

Marilyn Hueper, who with her husband owns the Homer Inn & Spa in Homer, Alaska, said federal agents broke down the door of their home and confiscated laptop computers and a cellphone and handcuffed them and their guests during the search, according to the Anchorage Daily News…

Other photos that the agents had made it more clear that Hueper was not the woman they were looking for, she said, according to the Daily News.

Gee, I guess the FBI isn’t the crack investigative body that it used to be, huh?

They conducted an investigation into the stolen laptop. I guess they were only going off of photos of the alleged thief.

Because it seems the woman they did confront was not the woman in D.C. during the time of the theft.

According to reports, Feds showed the woman photos of the suspect. A few did appear to look like her. But several others showed it was obviously not her.

This was after Feds went all the way to Alaska and kicked down her door.

Hueper claims the FBI handcuffed her family and their guests, then made off with several laptops and phones.

You’d think the FBI has better resources than, “This lady kind of looks like her.” They had to find out this woman’s address, make their way to her home—and they still screwed it up?

Why didn’t they first verify her identity, before literally kicking her door in?

Now, I’m no legal expert, but if I were this Alaska woman, I’d be talking to a lawyer right now.

Maybe next time, the Feds will be more careful about who they apprehend. But I won’t count on it.

Key Takeaways:

  • Feds kicked in the door of a woman suspected to have stolen Nancy Pelosi’s laptop.
  • As it turns out, they accosted the wrong woman, as was obvious in photos.
  • The woman and her husband were handcuffed as devices were taken.
