Pennsylvania Dem Falls Apart on Live TV – After Health Incident, Many Question Fetterman’s Ability to Serve

What’s Happening:

Many are watching the Pennsylvania Senate race between Republican Mehmet Oz and Democrat John Fetterman.

Fetterman made waves recently when he suffered a stroke. He refused to bow out of the race and his party is doing nothing. But it’s getting hard not to worry that something’s wrong.

From Breitbart:

Pennsylvania Democrat U.S. Senate Candidate John Fetterman struggled yet again in another campaign speech this week as he failed to differentiate between Washington D.C., New Jersey, and his home.

Speaking to steelworkers in Pennsylvania, Fetterman constantly corrected himself and barely finished his final thought about his proposed candidacy.

Not looking good, John. The man also refused to debate his rival. And now, people are questioning his fitness.

From Fox News:

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s editorial board questioned if Pennsylvania Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman is fit for the job if he’s not capable of debating his opponent after suffering a stroke earlier this year…

“If Mr. Fetterman is not well enough to debate his opponent, that raises serious concerns about his ability to serve as a United States senator,” the Post-Gazette’s editorial board wrote.

Not good at all, John. Fetterman’s campaign refused to debate Dr. Oz, his Republican opponent.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s editorial board used that as a reason to question his ability to lead.

Fetterman claims he is physically and mentally fine. But he’s only appeared at a few rallies since suffering a stroke.

And when he does speak, it is only for a few minutes. His performances seem to suggest he is not at all well.

Are Democrats allowing a not-fully-recovered Fetterman to run for high office? (It wouldn’t be the first time they did this!)

For a Pittsburg newspaper to openly question his health is significant. If what are mostly liberal writers are calling out this situation, voters are noticing it too.

It could very well be that he has not recovered from his stroke. Fetterman could be suffering from the fallout of that experience.

Does that mean he should be sent to Washington? I doubt any reasonable person would think so.

Key Takeaways:

  • Democrat candidate for Senate John Fetterman struggled during a speech.
  • He suffered a stroke not long ago but refuses to drop out of the race.
  • A Pittsburgh newspaper openly questioned his fitness, after he declined to debate his rival.
