The final predictions for the 2020 election are coming in. If you listen to the mainstream media, you’d believe Joe Biden already has this election in the bag.
They claim Trump’s path is too “narrow” (although he’s already won once before), while Biden has plenty of “options” for securing his election victory.
But according to swing state polling group Trafalgar, Trump is not trailing like most say. And two lead commentators are saying Trump has a pretty clear path to 270 EV.
And it runs right through PA:
I believe the president will carry Texas, Indiana and all the other reliably red states for his first 163 electoral votes. In 2016, his road to victory ran through Florida, Ohio, North Carolina and Iowa. In 2020, this path remains intact, with the addition of Georgia and Arizona…
Pennsylvania has 20 electoral votes, Michigan has 16 and Wisconsin has 10. In this scenario, with the president sitting at 260 electoral votes, he needs to win just one of these three states to prevail.
Fox News’ contributor David Bossie thinks Trump only needs to win either Pennsylvania, Michigan or Wisconsin to secure his victory if he holds the redder states he has been closing well in.
And Dan Bongino is predicting something similar:
Pennsylvania (20) could go either way. Trump has campaigned very aggressively in the state. In fact, his campaign held four rallies in Pennsylvania on Saturday…
Frankly, I think Trump stands a good chance of winning Pennsylvania.
Both Bossie and Bongino claim that Trump’s electoral victory lies in winning Pennsylvania. Last time, Trump landed a major upset by winning traditionally blue states like Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Those electoral votes will be enough to secure his victory this year.
Will voters come out for Trump this year as they did in 2020? It all depends on how many Trump supporters are ready to give him another term, versus how many in these states want Biden to take over.
Overall enthusiasm for the Democratic nominee is less than stellar. As Trump packs out venues with thousands, Biden can barely fill a parking lot.
The only reason someone will vote for Biden is to vote against Trump. Can that be enough to give Biden the victory?
Probably not in Pennsylvania. After Biden’s disastrous final debate, PA residents know that he is going to end fossil fuel.
He will end the oil industry, putting many PA residents out of work. Are they willing to risk their livelihoods just to spite Trump?
Or will Donald score 270 electoral votes—or many more?
- Two political pundits are predicting Trump victories.
- Both Bossie and Bongino believe Trump’s win will come down to the state of Pennsylvania, and also rust belt states like Michigan and Wisconsin.
