What’s Happening:
Democrats have made it clear that one of their biggest goals is to shut down America’s gun rights. They routinely use tragedies to push this political view, even though most Americans disagree.
Joe Biden himself has been caught saying more and more often that your 2nd Amendment rights are not absolute. And he’s here to tell you exactly what he’ll “let” you do (not much).
But one Democrat went above and beyond the usual comments. This House member made a wild boast about what he was willing to do to deprive Americans of firearms.
There’s just one problem.

Rep. Mondaire Jones (D-NY):

Pretty scary, huh? This House Democrat said the quiet part out loud.
He vowed to “abolish” the filibuster. To “expand” the Supreme Court. All in the name of taking “weapons of war” (i.e.: firearms) out of Americans’ hands.
Unfortunately, despite his bold—uninformed—words, the House has no power to do anything he threatened to do.
The “filibuster” is a rule that protects the minority party in the Senate. Even if he wanted to, Jones cannot abolish it as a House representative.
The same can be said about the Supreme Court. Supreme Court justice nominees are evaluated and confirmed by the Senate.
The House could pose a bill to expand the court, but it still needs support from the upper chamber.
So, Jones got himself a nice soundbite, but he has no clue what he’s talking about.
The bottom line, though, is that many Democrats across the country share his sentiment. Their agenda to rob Americans of their right to protect themselves matters more than our institutions.
Democrats no longer seem to care about respecting due process, checks and balances, or even the law.
This is what’s really at stake in the upcoming elections. If Democrats get enough people in office, they will run away with this radical, socialist agenda.
Unless Americans stand up and stop them.
