It’s pretty odd to see how the left is reacting to Musk’s Twitter purchase. Really, it doesn’t affect them all that much.
(Unless they owned Twitter stock, in which case they should be very happy.)
But leave it to the left to meltdown over nothing. And MSNBC’s resident lunatic had the very worst take.

Reid criticized Musk’s push for free speech and less censorship on Twitter after his $43.4 billion buyout of the platform Monday, claiming the Tesla CEO will allow users to take over the platform and enjoy “being able to attack people.”
“The enjoyment they get out of being in this ‘town square’ is being able to harass people, being able to attack people.”
“Elon Musk, I guess he misses the old South Africa in the ’80s, he wants that back.”
As usual, Joy Reid shows she knows little about facts or history. She slandered Musk’s buyout of Twitter, making a racist claim against him.
Reid went on a rant, claiming conservatives on Twitter just want to join the “town square” of free speech so they can “attack people.”
Isn’t this the same woman who posted homophobic tweets—and later claimed her account was “hacked”?
I guess it’s okay to attack people when you’re a Democrat? Because liberals on Twitter have been slandering and lying about conservatives for years, with no penalty.
Reid did the very thing in her rant, claiming conservatives forced Jewish users to put double hashtags around their names because they told them to “get in the over.”
That doesn’t even make sense. Yet Reid is allowed to say that kind of nonsense, on TV, with no consequences.
But a conservative can’t say they support Donald Trump on Twitter—without getting persecuted?
Clearly, the left is swimming in hypocrisy.
