The pain that is soon to be inflicted on Americans, thanks to the left’s new tax bill, is largely Mitch McConnel’s fault.
The Senate Minority Leader had many chances to stall the left’s agenda. He could have even used the debt ceiling to score victories for Americans.
Instead, he folded, giving the Democrats what they wanted. Now, Donald Trump is blasting this fake Republican.
From TRUTH Social:
Mitch McConnell got played like a fiddle with the vote today by the Senate Democrats. First he gave them the fake Infrastructure Bill, then Guns, never used the Debt Ceiling for negotiating purposes (gave it away for NOTHING!), and now this. Mitch doesn’t have a clue – he is sooo bad for the Republican Party!
Trump blasted McConnell for giving Democrats several legislative wins, paving the way for this massive tax bill.
McConnell got “played like a fiddle” by refusing to hold his ground on nearly every issue.
This spending bill passed without Republican support, thanks to the reconciliation loophole (which only needs a majority vote in the Senate).
But other recent pieces of legislation, like the gun control bill and microchip funding bill, would have needed 60 votes to pass.
McConnell could have stonewalled these bills, refusing to let them pass out of debate, to prevent Democrats from passing this spending bill.
Why didn’t he delay votes on these other bills, until Democrats agreed to a compromised spending bill?
One that doesn’t include massive tax hikes on working families?
Instead, McConnell rolled over like a dog, giving Democrats a chance to further derail our economy.
Trump drove the nail in Mitch’s coffin by saying he is bad for the Republican Party. McConnell talks big, but, when push comes to shove, it looks like he folds every time.
Is he really a conservative or just a liberal in disguise?
