We didn’t think Americans’ faith in the Department of Justice could get any worse. The FBI has been outed for political bias. First, they tried to interfere with the 2016 Election by investigating Trump on false pretenses. Then, we learned they protected Joe Biden in 2020 by refusing to investigate his son’s laptop.
The DOJ coerced Twitter and other social networks to censor free speech, a violation of the First Amendment. But it seems the straw that broke the camel’s back was a claim that Biden’s DOJ forced the IRS to drop its investigation into Hunter Biden’s crimes. House Speaker McCarthy is fed up with this pathetic agency. And he’s vowing something big.

House Speaker McCarthy promised to launch an impeachment probe against Biden’s attorney general. He said that if the whistleblower claims are true–that the DOJ forced the IRS to drop its case against Hunter Biden–Merrick Garland would be on the chopping block.
And this isn’t just saber-rattling from the House Speaker. A growing number of Republicans are joining him.

This IRS scandal is hardly the end of what the DOJ’s been doing. Despite the obvious conflict of interest, Biden’s DOJ indicted Donald Trump–his chief political rival in the coming election. That is exactly what Democrats impeached Trump over in 2019, yet today they are silent.
If the House launches an impeachment inquiry, it will give them the power to investigate the corrupt charges leveled against Garland. And they go well beyond this Hunter case. We might actually see a member of the Biden administration held accountable for the many wrongs he’s committed.
