Numerous Americans are beginning to question the reliability of the NIH’s Dr. Anthony Fauci.
At the beginning of the COVID outbreak, he urged Americans not to wear masks. He later admitted that was to save them for medical staff, but they should be wearing masks.
For months, he’s been urging everyone to wear masks in public.
Apparently, that’s not enough anymore. Because he is suggesting Americans do this for better protection:
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert, this week said wearing goggles or an eye shield in addition to a face mask would provide better protection against the coronavirus, according to a report.
“Theoretically you should protect all of the mucosal surfaces [eyes, nose, mouth], so if you have goggles or an eye shield, you should use it,” he said in an interview with ABC News on Instagram Wednesday.
Americans are already chafing at the harsh and ever-changing demands put on them by the government.
States locked down the economy for months, sending small businesses to the brink of disaster. Many have not recovered, nor ever will.
The government ordered Americans not to purchase masks in February and March, only to reverse that order in April and May.
Now, Fauci is raising even more alarms by saying Americans should walk around with goggles and an eye shield.
How far are these “recommendations” going to go? Americans already know the risks of COVID-19.
They also know that even the best measures only reduce the risk. They do not make anyone immune to the disease.
Many have questioned if such extreme measures are worth it. Should the government cover the whole country in bubble wrap, just so a few people won’t skin their knees?
It’s been five months since the COVID panic began. While some Americans continue to fear, most are eager to get back to normal.
Students want to go back to school. Employees want to go back to work. Americans appear tired and unwilling to take on more burdens.
What will Fauci recommend next—HAZMAT suits? Or maybe just an oxygen tank, so we don’t have to breathe that pesky fresh air? Probably not, but he keeps ratcheting up the burdens on Americans.
Will you start wearing goggles or an eye shield?
- Anthony Fauci recently stated that goggles and eye masks might help battle COVID.
- This comes after he initially discouraged face masks but later changed his opinion.
- Fauci has been the loudest alarmist among government officials throughout the pandemic.
