Democrats are struggling to find a way to appeal to as many voters as possible.
And the pain is showing.
They picked Joe Biden because he is supposedly the “moderate” choice to compete with Trump.
But they feared losing their far-left base who wanted Bernie Sanders and socialism.
To fix that, they hoped far-left Kamala Harris would impress them. It didn’t.
Then they dragged turncoat John Kasich to speak, hoping the Republican would steal some voters away from the president.
That didn’t seem to work either. Even as Kasich tried to convince voters Biden was “radical,” Sanders shows up and spoils the party:
At the Democratic National Convention, Democratic- Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders bragged that his “radical” ideas are now “mainstream” in Joe Biden’s Democrat party, when he spoke at the DNC.
John Kasich gave a speech claiming Joe Biden was a moderate, not a radical.
But soon after, Bernie Sanders boasted that his far-left ideas are now “mainstream” in Joe Biden’s Democratic Party.
It’s true that Bernie Sanders’ team is working with Joe Biden’s team to produce their platform. In recent months, Joe Biden has embraced more and more far-left policies.
He even tried to pander to the defund the police crowd by saying cops have “become the enemy.”
Normally, a Democrat candidate moves to the center during the general election. He can’t risk losing moderate voters by embracing radical views.
But the opposite has happened this year. It seems the radical left is pushing Joe off the cliff.
It’s unlikely the party will be able to play a game pretending to be both “moderate” and “radical.”
Either Biden is actually in charge (hard to believe, given his mental decline) or the radical left is pulling his strings.
In addition to embracing Sanders’ radical views, Biden has signaled support for the Green New Deal. He also appears to want to appoint Robert “Beto” O’Rourke to oversee his gun policy.
O’Rourke has already promised to take away AR-15s and strip away your Second Amendment rights.
It doesn’t seem Biden is moderate in the least. Despite what Kasich says, the man is leading a party full of socialists.
- Bernie Sanders claimed his radical ideas are becoming mainstream in the party, thanks to Joe Biden.
- Joe Biden has been embracing far-left policy ideas from Sanders, AOC, and O’Rourke.
- Democrats claim he is moderate, but his comments say otherwise.
