There is less than one week to go before Election Day. Though Democrats have been trying to bury Donald Trump for months, the race between him and Kamala Harris is as close as ever.

This has been enough to send Democrats into full panic mode. They were sure that Harris would be trouncing Trump by now. Instead, it’s clear that Trump stands a very real chance of winning this election.

With the race as tight as it is, the smallest of mistakes could prove to be a deciding factor when it comes to who the winner will be. That’s why it’s come as bad news to Harris that her campaign has been caught red-handed manipulating the major social media site Reddit for her own personal gain.

While Reddit is a notoriously leftist platform infamous for its censorship of a large community of Trump supporters, Harris’s campaign is deploying its staffers to manipulate the site’s algorithm even further via a massive “astroturfing” operation, which is in direct violation of platform’s Terms of Service, according to a report by the Federalist.

The term “astroturfing” refers to a fake grassroots campaign, which involves campaign staffers or volunteers posing as ordinary people to create the illusion that there is more support being expressed in favor of a particular candidate or issue than there actually is.

“It’s no different than a shady company paying a team to write a bunch of fake Amazon reviews about their product to make it appear to be a better and more popular product than it is,” the Federalist noted.

When this strategy is employed on Amazon, it can manipulate people into buying certain products by making them think that the items are more important than they are. Meanwhile, when used during elections, this same strategy can be used to get more votes for a falsely advertised candidate.

If that doesn’t sum up Harris, we don’t know what does!

Harris Is Getting Desperate 

Harris’ campaign allegedly goes so far as to keep a spreadsheet to track of its astroturfing efforts. Their strategy reportedly involves staffers spamming the “Politics” subreddit (reddit forums on a particular topic), as well as others, with pro-Harris propaganda. They then have other volunteers post favorable comments on their propaganda.

If Trump was caught pulling off a stunt like this one, the mainstream media would be all over it. Since a Democrat like Harris is the person behind this Reddit manipulation, however, the mainstream media has no interest in exposing her.

This just goes to show that Harris truly is in full panic mode right now. She and her fellow Democrats had assumed that she had this race in the bag for months. Instead, Trump is right there with her and could easily come out victorious on Tuesday.

Harris can try to manipulate Reddit all she wants to. Her efforts likely won’t be enough to make American voters forget about the damage that she has done to this country over the past four years as Joe Biden’s vice president. In the end, this may just end up being another fail out of the many in Harris’ political history!
