Federal Judge Gives Biden’s DOJ Urgent Order – They Must Immediately Respond to Requests to Unseal Raid Warrant

The FBI raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate has been snagging headlines across the country for the past 48 hours. And it looks like the saga is only just beginning.

Recent details and a stunning call to break up the FBI have gotten everyone talking, but many want more information. First and foremost, the issue of the warrant is a top priority for many political leaders.

Now, one judge has ordered Biden’s DOJ to at least respond to that request.

The public demands to know the reason behind this unprecedented raid on Trump’s home. Rumors persist that Trump’s lawyers were unable to obtain a copy of the warrant from federal officers during the raid.

The reason for the FBI operation is one of the most important details that remains hidden from the public eye.

That’s why Judicial Watch petitioned a federal judge to respond to their request to unseal the warrant, which would then become available for all to see. That could also help to justify the raid.

On the other hand, the warrant’s release might prompt another firestorm of backlash. But either way, Judicial Watch demands its availability (via The Daily Wire):

A federal magistrate judge has ordered the Department of Justice (DOJ) to respond to requests to make public the warrant authorizing the FBI’s unprecedented Monday raid of former President Donald Trump’s residence.

Federal Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart ordered the DOJ to ‘file a Response to the Motion to Unseal’ the warrant Wednesday following requests made by the Times Union, a news outlet located in Albany, New York, and the conservative legal action group Judicial Watch. Reinhart said the DOJ must respond no later than August 15.

The release of the warrant could break the entire case wide open, and shed more light on the controversial situation.

As it currently stands, most Republican leaders and pundits are condemning the raid, calling it “politically motivated.” Dr. Ben Carson was quoted as saying the raid is shades of “Mao and Castro.”

As for Trump, he maintains that the “political persecution of Donald J. Trump has been going on for years” and the raid is “political targeting at the highest level.”

The White House has denied knowledge of the raid, though some sources are now saying it’s unlikely that at least some White House officials weren’t briefed about the operation.

Some lawmakers have called for severe consequences, such as Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) demanding the resignation or impeachment of U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, and the removal of FBI boss Christopher Wray.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) also made his stance very clear:

If the FBI isn’t extraordinarily transparent about its justification for yesterday’s actions and committed to rooting out political bias that has infected their most sensitive investigations, they will have sealed their own fate.

The FBI’s mission and the many patriotic agents who work hard to carry it out will be forever overshadowed by the distrust the bureau has sown.

Whatever happens, this is proving to be a driving force for voters.

Reports are showing that this event has motivated more citizens to vote in the upcoming midterm elections, and it could help spark the “red wave” experts have predicting throughout the year.

Key Takeaways:

  • A federal judge has ordered Biden’s DOJ to respond to a request to unseal the warrant for the FBI raid on Trump’s home.
  • Judicial Watch demands the warrant be made public, and Republican leaders say the FBI must be transparent about the operation.
  • Reports show this event will drive more voters to the polls in November.
