Once upon a time, Joe Biden claimed that Chinese communists were “not bad guys.” For years, Biden has been an ally to the Chinese Communist Party. He negotiated with the country while vice president; at the same time, his son received a billion-dollar investment from China.
Today, the Biden administration has taken a decidedly soft stance on the foreign nation. China is responsible for human rights violations. It is the world’s biggest polluter. And it is threatening Taiwan and other Asian neighbors. Biden appears to have done little about this. And now, China released a cartoon mocking the United States–on one of the country’s darkest anniversaries.
China’s government-run propaganda outlet Global Times mocked the United States on Sunday with a political cartoon marking the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
Global Times posted the cartoon on X, formerly known as Twitter, with the caption, “#US continues to export turmoil 22 years after 9/11.”
China’s media is run by the communist party, which also runs the government. Their Global Times ran a political cartoon mocking the United States on the weekend before we remember the worst attack on U.S. soil.
The foreign nation accused America of exporting “turmoil” 22 years after the attacks. This could be a criticism of the War on Terror, which began after terrorists attacked the U.S. Regardless, China is using a solemn day in American history to slander the country.
Critics have questioned why Biden hasn’t taken a harder stance on China. The country still hasn’t faced any repercussions from the global community for failing to contain COVID-19, a disease that led to a devastating pandemic that hurt the entire world.
Biden has failed to issue sanctions on China, even after it flew a spy balloon over the U.S. Biden has done nothing about China’s growing hostility against Taiwan and other Asian nations. Biden has done little to confront China’s abuse and exploitation of its own citizens, and its involvement in child slave labor in Africa.
Will Biden will say anything about this insulting cartoon, published on the Anniversary of 9/11?
